Who We Are
The Co-Artist Studio is a specialty hair studio in Capitola, California, serving Aptos, Santa Cruz, Soquel, Scotts Valley, and the surrounding coast, plus clients who make the drive from Los Gatos and San Jose.
We’re not a traditional full-service salon. Our studio is home to independent artists who chose to specialize, not generalize. Each stylist brings advanced training in blonding, dry cutting, or curly hair, and a distinct eye for her craft.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all salon. Your hair is approached based on what it actually needs, and the result is lived-in hair that feels effortless and entirely your own.

Our stylists listen first. Then we add what we know about technique, maintenance, and what will work best for your hair, and we build the look together. It’s a conversation, not a decision made for you.
